Current Position and Responsibilities
Annie Cheng is Head of Corporate Communication for Greater China, responsible for shaping Visa’s corporate communication strategies and enhancing corporate reputation to support market opening and business priorities in Greater China.

Other Information
As the function head, Annie also leads employee engagements and social impact programs including financial inclusion, financial education, women empowerment, community services and volunteering, with an aim of contributing and creating positive influences in the community.

Annie is currently based in Beijing. She joined Visa as Head of Corporate Communication, Hong Kong & Macau and Taiwan in 2014. Prior to that, she had spent ten years in a number of senior roles in Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Corporate Communications with HSBC in Asia Pacific. Her last role was Head of Marketing, Global Banking and Markets, Asia Pacific.

Annie holds the professional qualifications from Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Under her leadership, as of 31 December 2020, the Company actively engaged 2.3 million sellers and 36 million buyers from 223 countries/regions, with more than 25 million live listings on the platform annually. In addition, the Company cooperated with more than 100 logistics service providers around the world, providing over 100 logistics routes, 40 local warehouses in China, and more than 10 overseas warehouses abroad, serving DHgate customers and others.

Before this, she served as the youngest senior executive at Microsoft China and the only female with a high position at Cisco. Then, in 1999, as the first generation of e-commerce entrepreneurs in China, she established Joyo.com, China’s first B2C trading platform.

Diane is passionate about driving the digital inclusion agenda for MSMEs and women, collaborating with international associations and agencies. She is Co-chair of Business 20 (B20) Indonesia’s Women In Business Council., member of APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), Chair of APEC Women Leadership Summit, BRICS Women’s Business Alliance Chinese National Chapter Member, Member of High-level Advisory Council of World Internet Conference, and Chair of 50 Cross-border E-Commerce Leaders in China, to name just a few of her external positions.

Ana holds a Law degree, post-graduate degrees in Business Law and Executive MBA in Corporate Law and an MBA in Business Management (FIA/SP).

Before joining Avon in 2012, she built her career in the telecommunication/IT Business (Xerox) and oil & gas market (Texaco and Chevron), working for more than 20 years in multinational companies with broad experience in corporate legal matters and litigation in Latin America.

Since 2016, Ana expanded her role to support LATAM Avon’s markets both for Legal and Government Affairs.

Ana was the President of Brazilian Direct Selling Association (ABEVD) from 2016 to 2020. She is also a member of the current Board of Director of the Association of Care Products and Cosmetics (ABIPHEC).

From 2015 to 2019, Ana led Avon’s Diversity Network and was responsible for implementing Avon’s Brazil Diversity strategy. Ana is also a member of Avon Foundation Council in Brazil, responsible for fostering women’s causes before main stakeholders, including local government.

In 2020, Ana was nominated Vice President of Natura &Co Latam, leading more than 50 people from Legal and Government Affairs teams. Ana continues sponsoring diversity and sustainability initiatives.

Mr. Marco Obiso is the Head of the Cybersecurity division and currently acting as Chief of the Digital Network Society Department in the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the lead UN-specialized agency for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
 
He has been working in the ICT field for the past two decades, operating in several ICT-related domains such as network infrastructure development, system integration, application cooperation, IT Service Management, Internet governance and information security.
 
As Head of the Cybersecurity division, he is currently facilitating the work of ITU in elaborating Cybersecurity strategies and implementing programmes and initiatives as well as leading the ITU’s efforts on enabling the use of ICT applications, for the benefit of ITU Member States, including providing technical assistance in establishing capabilities and working to strengthen coordination and cooperation within the UN system.

As Deputy Secretary-General, Matthias Thorns has a part in the overall responsibility for the management of the IOE Secretariat in its work to support the global business community in its representation vis-a-vis the UN institutions, as well as G20, G7 and other international initiatives.

His career began as Adviser for Social Affairs in the European Business Federation UNICE (now BUSINESSEUROPE), before moving to the Confederation of German Employers as Adviser and later Deputy Director of the International and European Affairs Department.

After leaving the Confederation of German Employers in 2012, Matthias joined the IOE as Senior Adviser, leading the work on Human Rights, G20 and G7, Global Supply Chains as well as SMEs.

In 2017 Matthias joined the Workplace Rights team of The Coca-Cola Company as Human Rights and Workplace Rights Manager.

He was appointed IOE Director of Stakeholder Engagement in 2018 and a year later IOE Deputy Secretary-General. Matthias supervises the IOE’s work related to G20 and G7, human rights, agenda 2030, migration and programmes under an EU framework agreement, and is responsible for the IOE company networks: the Global Industrial Relations Network (GIRN), the Global Occupational Safety and Health Network (GOSH) as well as the Corporate Partner Initiative.
